Our founder and head Chef Mr. Pal's goal is to provide the flavour that tantalizes your taste buds. Each meal is prepared with a unique recipe resulting in an unparalleded flavour without the addition of any processed ingredients to give you the most fresh and tasty food you have ever had.

Gurpreet and Navneet Ranu, are the owners of Lighthouse Indian Kitchen (franchise) located in Cloverdale, BC. They are both dedicated to serving Fine Indian Cuisine with authentic flavours of India.

Gurpreet Ranu always starts his day off at the restaurant by lighting incense and playing the Waheguru Simran, always keeping his blessings, gratitude, traditions, and culture in mind.
Gurpreet has extensive experience in the restaurant business, starting as a dishwasher he worked his way up the ladder to management at Denny’s Restaurant (8 years). Thereafter he embarked on opportunities to managing Boston Pizza (8 years) and Cactus Club (2 years). Gurpreet, accumulated a tremendous wealth of knowledge in all aspects of how to operate a restaurant business.
Gurpreet came to Canada at the age of 9 with a distinct sense of what mouth-watering Indian food tastes like. Gurpreet knew it was time to take that leap and own an Indian Food Restaurant. Lighthouse being one of the first Indian restaurants to open in Surrey, BC and having a history of incredible Indian food was a perfect fit.
